ABOUT ME
Welcome to my website! My name is Efterpi and I have created this online space for parents and children to thrive! I am a Psychologist and Play Therapist and I work in the field of mental health with undivided love and interest toward the family unit, focusing both on the optimal psychological development of children and adolescents, as well as the children within all of us.
My multifaceted clinical experience focuses on children, adolescents, and their families. I am a trained Play Therapist and a LEGO®-based Therapy practitioner as well as a certified trainer for the Parent Effectiveness Training and the Terrific Toddlers program.
Through early intervention and open dialogue with a broad interdisciplinary team, I provide play therapy sessions for children, and adolescents, as well as small groups, parent counseling, and art therapy workshops. At the same time, I conduct frequent psychoeducational seminars on a variety of topics such as sex education, gentle parenting, and more. Each service is carried out with care and confidentiality, always bearing in mind each individual's needs.

EXPERIENCE
The basic principle and philosophy of my practice is lifelong development. Through continuous training and seminars, I aim to provide the most comprehensive and best possible services for children, teenagers, and their families.
I have participated in educational programs in Greek and international establishments, such as Stanford University. My research papers on parenting and psychology have been presented at European conferences. I have volunteered at the IASO General Clinic of Thessaly, as a psychologist of the 1st surgery Clinic, providing pre-and post-operative psychological support to patients. I have also volunteered as a play therapist at the Pentelis Child Hospital. More recently I have started working as an educator and psychologist in the school setting.
It is my personal goal to provide everyone with the tools to help themselves reach their goals and dreams, with respect toward their individuality!
